As storytellers, we are interested in the baddies: the twisted heart, the emotional cut-de-sac, or perhaps the stunted cognition. But honestly, we prefer looking into the souls of the heroes: courageous and selfless acts.
So what happens when the plot is flipped and we have to watch the baddies go about their business for days, weeks, months, and probably even years on end?

People without empathy being asked to lead.

We’re all going to get very tired of trying to understand this. And why so many people thought this would be a good idea.
